Wendy Lee is a psychologist who has been caring for adults by providing psychological treatment and counselling for over 20 years. She has a warm and engaging personality, which will help you to feel at ease from the very first session.
Experienced.
Wendy has worked as a psychologist in Perth Western Australia, New South Wales and South Australia. She has enjoyed helping adults with a wide range of issues in private, community and hospital-based mental health services. She has offered face-to-face sessions in major metropolitan cities (e.g., Perth, Sydney and Adelaide). Wendy has particularly enjoyed providing assistance to people in regional and rural communities (e.g., Albany, Narrogin, Port Lincoln).
Although Wendy is currently based as a psychologist in Perth, she has been working as an online telehealth psychologist since 2017. At that time she dedicated one full year to providing online therapy to clients in rural and remote South Australia. She has since expanded her practice and provides telehealth psychology sessions to clients from all over Australia.

Wendy Lee is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and has been a Medicare Provider since 2006.

Contemporary and evidence-based practice
Wendy only uses evidence-based therapy in her work with clients (e.g., cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy). Evidence-based therapies are those that have been demonstrated by research to be effective in relieving psychological distress.
Since her initial training in psychology at the University of NSW, Wendy has regularly participated in professional development activities (e.g., workshops). This means that her therapy skills are up-to-date and consistent with current evidenced-based practice. She has also undertaken further training in providing online therapy through the Australian Psychological Society.
